Why Pointe Precision

Pointe Precision, Inc. was born of the desire to provide opportunities for skilled people in central Wisconsin. From the very beginning, our home town communities of Stevens Point and Plover went out of their way to help us get on our feet. In return, we work tirelessly to grow and improve our company to be the best partner for our customers, and to provide great opportunities for talented, motivated people in our area.

We've invested a lot of time and effort into cultivating a thriving culture powered by hard work and a healthy dose of good humor and fun. We're proud of our culture, and we work really hard to keep it vibrant and healthy. Why? Because we're passionate about what we do, and we understand that we can't do it without talented, dedicated people who love the work as much as we do. If you want to work with passionate, skilled, smart people that you'll also love to hang out with, then we should talk. This might be the place for you.

Life at Pointe Precision

We do serious work. After all, the parts we make are described as "mission-critical" or "life-critical." We don't mess around when it comes to what we do, and we set the bar really high when it comes to producing parts to spec, achieving tight tolerances, and delivering high quality parts on time.

That being said, we also know how to have fun. Whether we're sponsoring a fishing tournament (or an ice fishing tournament - yeah, we do both), playing softball, holding a pie-eating contest, or firing up our custom hot dog roller, we like having fun together. That includes significant others and kids.

You can expect working at Pointe Precision to be challenging, but also exciting and fun. We're constantly exploring new opportunities and investing in new technology. So we can promise you'll have plenty of opportunity, and you definitely won't be bored.

Apprenticeships

We at Pointe Precision are proud to be a part of the Plover and Central Wisconsin Community. We are fortunate to be in an area with so many dedicated and hard-working employees. It is important for us to partner with local schools to introduce ourselves and our business to future employees.

We work very closely with the University of Wisconsin System and area technical colleges, giving paid internship opportunities to students in the Information Technology and Engineering areas.

The Youth Apprenticeship program through the State of Wisconsin and all of our local high schools is an important part of our business and we support it every way that we can.

We offer paid Manufacturing Apprenticeship opportunities for students in their Junior and Senior years of High School. If you are a Freshman or Sophomore, contact your school’s career office or counselor and inquire about how to get information on the apprenticeship program at your school.

If you are a student interested in gaining experience or receiving information on this program, you may also contact our Human Resources department.
